   How Do I Switch to TEMPTATIONS™ Adult Dry Cat Food?

   The key is to go slowly. If you change your cat’s diet too quickly, it can cause digestive issues. Instead, plan on the transition lasting for at least a week.

   Start by mixing a small amount of the new food with their current food. Gradually increase the ratio each day until they’re eating only the new food.

   During this time, pay attention to your cat’s behavior and appetite. If they seem to have tummy trouble, slow the transition or consult your veterinarian.

   How Much Dry Cat Food Should I Feed My Cat Each Day?

   While your veterinarian can help you determine yours cat’s unique needs, here are the general guidelines from TEMPTATIONS™ Block Party BBQ Flavor Adult Dry Cat Food:

   • 4-pound cat: ¼ to ⅓ cup daily
   • 8-pound cat: ½ to ⅔ cup daily
   • 12-pound cat: ⅔ to ¾ cup daily
   • 16-pound cat: ¾ to 1 cup daily
   • 22-pound cat: 1 to 1 ¼ cups daily

   You’ll want to divide this daily amount by the number of meals you offer your cat. For example, if you feed your 8-pound cat twice daily, they’ll need between ¼ to ⅓ of a cup at each meal.
